tahoeCAMP #2: 2ND ANNUAL DRESS REHEARSAL FOR LAKE TAHOE IRONMAN

Date: August 8-10, 2014

Tahoe Locals, Colleen Conners-Pace and Joe Pace of Tahoe Peak Endurance, LLC, and Alana Levin of June Lake Triathlon High Sierra Tri Club, have joined forces again to present Tahoe Altitude Triathlon Camps

Last year’s Dress Rehearsal Camp for the Ironman Lake Tahoe was so successful we are excited to bring the August camp back along with additional camps at Tahoe this summer, 2014.

Cost: $250  (camp only,  no lodging some light meals)  Granlibakken has offered great lodging and meal packages and just meal packages.  see below

Once again, we have put together a ‘STRESS-FREE weekend package so that all you need to do is show up with your wetsuit, bike and running shoes. We will take care of the rest. The idea behind this camp is for the athlete to practice their race day strategy/plan at altitude and become familiar with the actual course. This will include pace, nutrition, clothing and gear. Racing at high altitude is very much different than racing at low altitude and it would behoove those to test the waters so to speak in more ways than one prior to race day. The focus is to rehearse your race day strategy, by practicing it in a simulated race fashion on half the IRONMAN course.

This camp is hosted and sponsored by Granlibakken Resorts.  They are offering us awesome priced lodging and meal Packages as well as Off-Site Packages for those not lodging at Granlibakken.
